Gross National Product. GNP is the total value of all final product and services produced within a nation in a specific year, and income earned by its citizens (including income of these located abroad), minus income of non-residents located therein country. Basically, gnp measures the value of goods and services that the country's citizens produced notwithstanding their location. gnp is one measure of the status of a rustic, under the belief that the next gnp leads to the next quality of living, all different things being equal.
